Donington Park track day in 2000. By now I’d fitted race bodywork  to the ZX6 on the basis that an expensive spill was just around the corner, but still wasn’t thinking about racing....much!

In the summer of 2001 I bit the bullet and went racing. This is me in September 2001 at Gerrards Bend, Mallory Park, novice jacket and all.

2002 saw a more serious attack on the EMRA Roadstocks championship and transformation from “also ran” to front runner. If I can, anyone can!

Having trashed my helmet and leathers at the end of 2002, the 2003 season witnessed a fashion crisis! Finished third in the championship, but last in style!
